Animal Guardian Ribbon
The Animal Guardian Ribbon represents one's love for animals and dedication to helping them. The Animal Guardian Ribbon Award recognizes those who do good deeds for animals, those who work to end suffering of animals and work to protect the lives and bring awareness to animals who need our help.
Wear the ribbon to show your love of animals. Whether they are companion animals, wild animals, working animals or farmed animals, being a good animal guardian means working to protect the lives of animals to prevent suffering, habitat loss, abuse and/or neglect. Animal guardians notice an animal or animals-in-need and take action to make sure they get help.
Animal guardians are our heroes, looking out for those who can't protect themselves, coming to the rescue of animals whose lives or well-being are in jeopardy and making sure they can live out their lives as happy and healthy creatures who share Earth with us.

The musical tale of "The Ugly Duckling"
The wonderful cast and crew were celebrated by Rational Animal at a bowling party where they were presented with the 2024 Animal Guardian Award. This highly-praised production by Sierra Stages presents a lovely story and with it messages of kindness to animals.
Key messages from the production:
- •The dangers to birds of leaving fishing wire in the environment.
- •Feeding bread to ducks and geese makes them ill — better choices include cut seedless grapes, cooked rice, birdseed, peas, corn, oats, and chopped lettuce.
Animal Guardian Ribbon Award
Rational Animal created the Animal Guardian Award to reward people, organizations and businesses that do good deeds for at-risk animals.
